Reviews/Questions/Answers Guidelines
We value your contributions and encourage you to review about your recent property experience.
We also want to make sure that Property Reviewed is a trustworthy source for property information.
The following rules apply: Recent
To keep content relevant, we ask that you share and write about experiences that occurred within the past 2 years.
Fake or Biased Reviews
We will not tolerate made up experiences or experiences written on behalf of someone else.
If you are associated with or in competition with another landlord you shouldn’t review it.
Reviews are most helpful when they provide unbiased advice. We don't allow individuals or entities who own
or are affiliated with a property to post reviews of their business or competing establishments.
Reviews submitted in an attempt to blackmail a listing will not be published.
If you suspect a review is fake or doesn't meet our posting guidelines, you can use the
“flag” feature located at the top right corner of each review.
Proof of your experience
From time to time we might need to verify your experience further.
When this happens, we could ask for lease/owners’ documentation, screenshot/email of your experience,
any other documentation that could support your review.
Non-Commercial
Reviews that contain links or content solely for promotional/marketing purposes will be automatically blocked.
Relevant
Keep your reviews relevant to your property experience and helpful for other potential tenants/buyers –
keep in mind they are reading your review to understand what an experience with property would be like.
For this reason, please don’t include any personal opinions about politics, ethics, religion or wider
social issues.
Content encouraging boycott or smear campaign of a property will be removed.
Keep questions relevant to the property listed. Answers should be relevant to the question asked.
First-Hand
Our community wants to hear about your experience. This means no second-hand information, rumours, or
quotations from other sources. Please, only provide reviews based on substantial experiences you’ve had
and be sure to include enough detail in your review that other tenants will find helpful.
Easy to Read
We have a required character count for reviews (100) — fill up the space with details about your experience
and do not include extra characters or spaces.
Attitude
Don’t post anything harmful, hateful, discriminatory, defamatory or obscene. And don’t lie, bully,
blackmail, make threats or do anything illegal.
You own your review
A review is owned by the person who wrote it and can be edited at any time but
don’t do this if incentivised by the owner/manager.
